PVP
PvP is mostly opt-in, except for veil. Engaging in pvp is actually valuable even for pve as you get skills for both as you level pvp.
If you’re stuck in pvp mode, you can go to veil and back, there are other ways as well.
Limits:
items/spells that dont work in pvp:
ump, vish(?), star, other hp boost items, vmp works tho
PvP stats:
These stats apply outside of pvp, so getting these skills is actually very useful.
Good stats: hp, resist freeze (end game dungeons have a lot of it), heal on hit (?)
Wealth
The great quest is a multi part repeatable/weekly quest that's start-able at 55/60 or so, but feasible really only at 65+. It supposedly gives you a random high lvl item.
The issue is that the great quest is only available if you characters net wealth, over the lifetime of the character, is low enough. If a lvl 1 picks up item lvl 120 items for a few hours, supposedly that increases the wealth of the char so that even when that one hits 65, it might not be able to do the quest.
The supposed cutoff is item lvl 80+, where it starts to actually count for your character. Theres 1-2 posts from ej about it, but people seem to have a lot of random beliefs about this. This thread can be to try to figure out what is actually going on.
